Monday -- was a pretty boring day. it was a brisk 115 outside so we stayed inside pretty much all day :( that is the the hard part of being pregnant and living where we do, we tend to stay inside a lot because it's just too hot to do anything outside. poor rawley gets so bored and there is really just so much playing with the same things inside that we can do. ideas to entertain this child are highly welcome!
Tuesday -- today i hit 22 weeks! man, time is flying by! while we were waiting for sissy to get up on her last day here, rawley did some playing with his new firefighter car and i did some quick cleaning. we went to chipotle for lunch where rawley indulged in his own plate of a taken apart steak taco. the steak was too spicy for him, he wasn't a fan so he ate everything else. we stopped by tarted (of course) because we had to pick up the new justin bieber cd for sissy...rawley wasn't impressed. he wanted to focus on pushing the cart instead. we took sissy to the airport for her to go home tonight, rawley was really sad and it made me cry. he loves her so much. but the good news is that she will be back in a couple weeks for a few weeks so it will be fun!
Wednesday -- We started Wednesday like any morning around here. While I was cleaning up the kitchen I went into Rawley's play room to find him sitting on top of his table for the first time ever. Naturally, I ran back to the kitchen to get my camera and when I came back he was still sitting there with a huge cheesy smile on his face. I pushed this damn car around the house a million times since it's still super hot out (like 110 degrees)! Rawley's new thing is any time he turns the music on the octopus bubble blower he will look at me and crack up thinking he is funny. He is.
Thursday -- We went over to our friend Haven's house to spend the morning playing over there since it's been a while since we hung out with them. Rawley is trying to put his shoes now on his own. It's fun to watch him on the road to being independent. He took maybe an hour nap today which sucked for me, but he was actually good for the remainder of the day which almost never happens. When Ryan got home we went swimming in our "pool". Yes, that is a blow up pool...in the gravel...on top of utility blankets. We bought a brand new house and have still yet to landscape and get a real pool in our backyard. ;0) Rawley is all boy, he likes to play in the dirt.
Friday -- Starting the day off watching his recent obsession of Yo Gabba! Gabba!... usual. I wonder when he will want to stop watching this??? We went over to Mimi's to play with the kids, for some reason Rawley didn't want me to take his picture...weird. A very uneventful Friday.

I also get soo bored inside with my little boy, but that's usually cause it's raining outside.
