monday. rawley wanted to play in the water bright and early. usually we wait until the afternoon once we get the shade out there, but the morning was quite tolerable today so we spend a couple hours playing in the water. he could spend all day out there if you let him. later, we built some castles with his blocks.
tuesday. spent the morning being lazy and watching a bit of bubble guppies after breakfast. i love the cuddle times rawley is spending with me right now. it's like he knows his little brother will be joining in on the cuddle time very soon. and of course we played in the water after nap time. i tried to take his 17 month pictures at the park tonight, but he did not have it. i got a few good shots, but once i uploaded them to my computer they all erased!!!! i wanted to cry. so now i have to retake them later....ugh.
wednesday. woke up and made a stellar breakfast for the rawl dawg: scrambled eggs, toast and strawberries. he ate everything except for the eggs...sucks. he is getting pretty picky these days. we had to go to the grocery store to pick up some things for ryan's boss to come over for dinner and we stopped by the park for some play time. he spent most of his time playing in the sand, but for the short while he was on the swings he LOVED it! he is so cute. came home to check the mail and his favorite auntie lauren sent him a special thank you card with cute fish stickers. he loved it :0) after ryan's boss left for the evening rawley and dad did some "wrastling" before bed. he loves it.
thursday. this sums the day up perfectly....BUT the shirt is pretty awesome!
friday. we hit up target to get some baby items and of course explored the dollar bins to find this amazing turkey hat! i would have bought it, but rawley doesn't ever wear hats and it makes me so sad :( after, we went over to play with cousins avery and brody and had a great time. rawley loves playing with her because she is just his size. his all about holding her hand and trying to give her kisses...then he started pulling her hair. ugh. on the ride home we picked up a quick lunch and of course fell asleep for the last 5 minutes of the ride home. i tried to entice him with a french fry to keep him up. he took one bite and left it in his mouth while holding the other half in his hand and instantly fell back to asleep. needless to say, he didn't take a nap for the rest of the day.
