monday. today we ventured to the library for some baby story time. this group is from ages newborn to 24 months. there were just a few other little's his age and he was all about them. there were times he would escape and run across the carpet to check out the little babies laying on the floor. just a little preview for when his little brother arrives. scary. there were A LOT of kids in this class today! once we got home, we did some water table play and relaxed for the rest of the day.
tuesday. i'm finally able to bust out his 18 month clothes {ok, just shirts} and we wore our new yo gabba! gabba! shirt from our bff henry! he was so nice to mail us this shirt all the way from colorado and it is of course his new favorite. he pulls it out of the laundry all the time as i'm trying to fold it. more outside fun {squishing toes in the mud, water table, mini atv rides} and bath shenanigans finished out the afternoon!
wednesday. today i reached 35 weeks! only 35 days to go...yippee! we went grocery shopping and got an oil change today and later went to our growth ultrasound to see little dude. he is measuring a tad big {around 6 pounds already}, but no one seems too alarmed by it. they did a 3d ultrasound and he looks a lot like rawley did when he was born. so cool!
thursday. ryan had to go to vegas today overnight for work so we had some morning cuddles before he left. we went to the splash pad and dad had switched out his carseat since he took my car on the road trip and put it forward facing for the first time. rawley had no idea what to think of it, but he loved it. he is still too small i think for forward facing so when we put it back in my car it will be rear facing again, but it was so cute to see rawley back there while i was driving. he looked so big. i spent the rest of the afternoon washing/folding newborn and 0-3 month size baby clothes. i totally forgot how small they are!
friday. today was rough for rawley since i pretty much spent the day cleaning the house in anticipation for gpa and babushka's arrival on saturday. he is all about roughing up all the gear i have been getting out for the little dude so he has been liking hanging out in the old car seat. i tried to set up a fort for him today, but it lasted all but 30 seconds...he wasn't interested :( ryan got the new iphone 5 today and i'm SUPER jealous. went to chili's to hang out with friends and celebrate our friend who got his new job today and closed the night down with some more mamma & rawley snuggles. i only get a few more weeks of this one on one with him so it really melts me right now. he has been so snugly, it's been awesome :0)
