we are also ditching the good old chalkboard :( he gets SO upset when i make him hold it that it's not even worth it anymore. now i need to find a good use for the them.
not much has really changed going into this month. rawley is still the spunky little dude we all know and love so much. rawley is very independent and he beats to the sound of his own drum. he does not like being told what to do and when to do it {just like his mamma AND his dad}! i feel like no matter how hard i try to teach him things or however many times i repeat something for him to say it just doesn't happen unless he is ready to do it himself. with that said, he is finally waving hi and bye {on purpose} now while saying "hi" or "bye". his new obsession is the broom closet and everything in it. any and all cleaning tools are always out of the closet and dragged all over the house, i'm thinking i need to invest in kid size cleaning tools, but will he actually use it is the question ;0) he will yell "baaaa" anytime the vacuum is on and he will say "baaaa" when running to the closet to wait for it to be opened. he goes crazy anytime the vacuum is going, but in a good way. he wants to help and loves it. saying "ow" or "hot" is new in the vocabulary too and tends to use that often.
he must be doing something physically at all times of the day. no sitting down and doing some awesome pinterest crafts for this boy. he is all about wrestling with dad and he throws himself on him. when he wrestles with mamma, it's all about tickling and a huge giggle fest. he knows the difference in when he wrestles with each of us :0) marching, dancing, kicking the ball around the house with his foot and running around the house with his baseball bat is currently his on daily agenda. it's a little exhausting, but funny to watch. his current routine when dad gets home is to follow him into our room while he changes out of his work clothes, stands at the bathroom door and repeatedly says "pee pee" while he uses the restroom then runs to our bed at full force so dad can throw him on the bed and wrestle with him.
it's been a rough month for this little guy, his two top molars have decided to bust through. i don't blame him, they look like they hurt and i feel so bad. he is in all the same size clothes...still, but have moved up to a size 5 shoe and i think we could be moving on to a size 5 diaper as he has leaked through on a couple of occasions overnight. i just bought a huge box of size 4's at costco recently so when i'm due for a new box i'm thinking i will get the 5's.
he is such a fun little guy and i can't believe that we got so lucky with a healthy and perfectly cute little dude! and spending the day with him is my job! i couldn't be more thankful and lucky! it's pretty amazing :0)
