rawley is 19 months! we are getting closer and closer to two and that makes me kinda sad.
not much of anything new has really happened this month. actually, this month was kind of a whirlwind thanks to being super pregnant. it was actually a month of survival for the both of us.
right now rawley is all toddler. he is so freaking stubborn and ornery. i'm thinking me being pregnant and immobile had a lot to do with it. talking is still not one of his strong suits. i'm not sure if it's something i need to be worried about or a miracle will happen soon and talking will just "click" for him. the only new word he is saying at the moment is "bath" and he says it like "baaaaaaaath". the kid loves the bath. whenever we let him know it's bath time he runs to his bathroom and gets totally excited for it. now if only i can get him to love to brush his teeth after the bath...
speaking of being stubborn...his new thing is climbing on top of everything which includes the top of the kitchen table, the coffee table, his play table and toy chest in his play room and standing on top of his rocking chair to try to climb the tv stand. looks like we need to get child safety straps for our furniture now. he is getting better and more persistent in wanting to put on his shoes and clothes all by himself. he doesn't quite get it done, but the his is successful with the motions of it.
rawley is back to his normal sleeping routine of getting up anywhere between 6-7am, napping from 11:30a to 2-2:30pm and still going to bed around 7-7:30pm. he has been really craving his sleep lately so he might be finally catching up. his bottom molars popped through this month so it certainly explains how crazy his sleeping habits were last month. his eating habits are very finicky right now as well. all things he used to love and I could guarantee him to eat {like bananas} are no more. he does still like peas though and eats them everyday. there are days where he will go without eating breakfast, only takes a few bites of lunch and throwing all his dinner on the floor {all in the same day} and i want to pull my hair out, but the next day he seems to catch up and fill his tummy. everyday is a different one around here.
oh rawley. you surprise me everyday, but it's so fun! you are becoming so independent and sometimes that makes this mamma really sad, but i'm so thankful that you are wanting to express yourself and find your own way of things in this crazy world. mamma loves you to the moon and back!
