There is not much to our Halloween festivities because this is the kind of night that my children had before we went out to Mimi's for some trick or treating...

Rawley and Dawson were a football player and a football.  I had great visions of the perfect Halloween picture of these two.  I was so excited for months for this and a shit show is how it ended up.  We got a very late start too {now that everything takes three times as long to get out the door} so that was the first problem to getting these done.  I had to take it inside instead of outside :(  Oh well.  Next year will be better :)

Since sissy was in town visiting, we did decide to visit our nearby pumpkin patch.  It was interest to say the least.  It was not very fall like at all, but then again we live in the desert.  It was more like a cowboy hoedown!  Very bizarre, but nonetheless we had a great time.

That evening we carved our pumpkins.  Sissy did most of the work and Rawley wasn't that interested in it.  He had a taste of the pumpkin guts and it just made him mad.  I'm hoping next year he will take more of an interest in it :)

Hopefully next year Rawley will take to carving a pumpkin more.  This year it just pissed him off.
