rawley is 15 months.

I forgot to get his little chalkboard ready when shooting last nights 15th month shoot (which by the way is 11 days late now).  Oops.

Rawley's personality is all boy.  He is getting just so funny.  For instance, anytime he burps or farts he actually laughs so hard that you can't help but laugh hysterically at him.  He is both stubborn and sweet and right now is hating anytime you tell him he can't do something he isn't supposed to do.  He is such a stinker.  Rawley's curiosity is in full force right now, everything he grabs he always says "what's this", "what's this" until you tell him what it is.  If you just sit there and look at him and not say anything, he can say "what's this" a hundred times.

Some new words Rawley is saying at the moment is "what's this", "ow" (as he is hitting you or pulling your hair) "sissy/sis" and "beep".  Somersaults are his new thing.  He is starting to show interest in putting the puzzles together.  He hasn't quite grasped where the pieces go correctly on the board, but he likes to try.  He will obtain objects that you ask him to get or find.  He is getting to be quite smart!

Rawley still has no patience to sit down and let you read a book to him.  He will grab a book from his bookshelf and run into your lap to have you read it to him, but once you start he is moving right along to other things after the third or so page.  He will point to objects in the book that you ask him to, but that only lasts for a few minutes and then he is on his way.

We are still trying to deal with his milk intolerance.  We have tried to introduce whole milk again a couple weeks ago at his 15 month mark and that lasted for a week until he started to throw up again.  So....we had to go back on toddler formula.  At his 15 month well-check, his doctor thinks it's beneficial for him to go back on the formula rather than soy since it's milk based and he seems to tolerate that just fine.  Plus, he is a breath holder when he cries until his lips turn blue so the added iron in the formula is good for him.  Ugh, formula is so expensive and I hate giving it to him :(

Rawley has finally hit the 20 pound mark!!!!  Finally.  This puts him in the 11th percentile for weight.  He is also 30.75 in tall with a 18 inch round head, puts him in the 30th and 19th percentiles.  Dr. Jackson does not seem concerned at his recent 15th month appointment as he still is showing a growing trend and still within the normal range.  Our little dude is just that, little ;0)  Right now he wearing size 4 shoes and diapers, 12-18 month shirts and some 6-12 and 12 month shorts depending on the brand.

Happy 15th months my sweet Rawley!  Mamma loves you SO much and everyday is a sheer joy to wake up to.
