dawson is 21 months.

i'm slacking, i know.  i wrote this post and have slacked on editing the pictures and blah, blah, blah...
rawley is starting school back up next week so i should be getting better and posting and taking pics all around.  anywho...

there is nothing more that i can say about this little guy.  he surprises me everyday with how much knowledge he is soaking in.  he's crazy smart and it doesn't surprise me in the least when he repeats something or does something that i directly ask him to do.

 

age:  21 months

stats:  n/a

clothes:   we are still holding strong in size 2T shirts, 18-24 month shorts {although i think he's starting to out grow this size}, size 7 shoe and size 5 diapers

favorite foods:  his eating habits are tapering off a bit, but he'll pretty much down anything that comes his way.  like his brother, he loves to "snah" {snack} all the time.  rawley is potty training now so he will get a skittle anytime he does the "deed" so naturally dawson thinks he deserves a skittle too. 

favorite words:  he's blowing my mind with his words.  he's constantly putting two and three word sentences together mostly when he speaks, like "i got buh-bee {blankie}" or "i go swimming".  he will answer us all the time with "yes" or "yeah" while shaking his head or "nooooo" or "no thank you" if he's in a good mood ;0)

favorite activities:  sports.  this guy loves sports.  he's loving watching it on tv, kicking the ball around and swinging the bat.  he's got crazy hand eye coordination.  he's starting an obsession with shoes.  he can put them on for the most part by himself, but not always on the right feet.  he's starting to get pretty picky about them too and will voice his dismay if i happen to put on the wrong shoes.  stinker!  dawson is also pretty good at entertaining himself for a little bit and he usually does this by reading or putting together a mean meal with his pretend food set.

least favorite activities: dawson is pretty easy going so he pretty much adapts to whatever is going on.  however, he is still hesitant on swimming unless he is going at his own pace.

personality traits:  i say this every month, but he is just so dang cute and full of personality.  he's so funny and makes me laugh all the time.  his facial expressions are to die for and he can be so random with his silly antics.  he's still a mammas boy and loves for me to always hold him and i will because he's my baby man! :)

 

other milestones and things i want to remember:  dawson has started to count to four consistently and will sing some of his abc's as well.  everything is "un, tooooo, theee, fo"!  i love it!  he's trying to pull his pants off and also saying "pee pee rocks" so it makes me wonder if he's wanting to try the potty already.  he'll want to sit on rawley's frog potty, but i'm thinking that it's because rawley is still potty training so he's wanting to do it too.
