dawson is 16 months!

age:  16 months

stats:  undecided for

clothes:  wearing all 18-24 month size shorts/pants & shirts.  he is also wearing size 5 shoe, but i can put him in size 6 sometimes because his feet are still so fat.

favorite foods:  he can really put away anything that's given to him on his plate, sometimes he will even eat seconds!  the only things he could really care less about are fruit & veggies.  awesome.

favorite words:  he loves to say bruh-r {brother}, gray {grapes}, dawsie {his name ;0)}, all done {he always yells that to us even though he's really not, dog {he LOVES dogs and will always want to go near it when one comes to the park that he's playing at}, car-car and ball.  

favorite activities:  he loves to read book right now.  he will literally start shouting at you to read him a book and then back up to you to sit in your lap.  balls.  throwing balls, kicking balls or just holding a ball.  he loves to take wagon rides with rawley down to the park eating his snacks and enjoying the scenery.  once we get to the park he will stand up on the landing of the jungle gym and yell at all the other kids {and his brother}.  it sounds like he is barking demands and just being a major bossy pants.  he loves watching yo gabba gabba! {of course} and bubble guppies {because that's what brother watches}

least favorite activities:  being told he can't do something and anything that requires him to stay still {like getting dressed or taking a moment to get in his car seat}

personality traits:  he can fake cry with the best of them along with giving us major stink eye.  he loves to blow kisses and giggle.  he is really an all around happy baby {or toddler...i'm refusing to give up his baby title}.

other milestones:  he can follow directions fairly well.  i can go tell him to get his water cup in the play room and he will go get it and bring it back to me.  he has ALL his teeth now with the exception of his last set of molars.  he sleeps from 7:30p to 7-7:30a and will sleep through the night, but for some reason lately he is waking up around 11 EVERY NIGHT and will fight to go back to sleep.  i can't tell if his teeth are still bothering him or if it's a new habit forming.  it's really strange.  he did get his first haircut this month too.  he's officially a big boy :0(  i feel like he is advancing so quickly.  maybe it's normal progression, i'm not sure but he growing at crazy speed.  we have one more notch to go on his crib before he is officially out.  he is trying to climb out already.  what am i going to do with TWO toddlers in big boy beds roaming my house??
