i wasn't really good about taking out my big girl camera with a few here and there from the zoo like i wanted, but our stay consisted of staying on the bayside all day, bike riding, going to the san diego zoo and hanging out at the beach. sounds great, right? you would think, but traveling and vacationing with two kids under two and half is not exactly the perfect equation of the perfect vacation. rawley was very much a two year old with his crazy temperament and thankfully dawson was just along for the ride on this trip. we probably won't be going on a vacation again for as long as we did for another couple of years, but all in all it had a lot of great moments and those that we will always remember.
here are some shots of when we went to the zoo. rawley decided to feed the statue gorilla food since his mouth was open and he loves to give me the side eye anytime i put a camera to his face. sweet.
i did take some pictures of my step daughter in a attempt to capture some good ones for her senior pictures as a practice for the real one's i will take when i go visit her in a few weeks. this is unedited, but one of my faves :0)
and here is the instagram version which was much easier for me to take pictures of our trip with. i didn't want to get my big girl camera ruined from all the sand from the beach ;0)
san diego is always a favorite spot for us. who knows, maybe san diego will call for us next summer, but at least we will be more prepared ;0)
