dawson is nine months.

dawson has just reached 9 month status which means he has been outside of my body as long as he was inside.  crazy!  his growth up to this point has truly flown by to me.  life is so hectic with two so i'm sure that doesn't help things much.  his little personality is really shining now and he is just so silly.

case in point.

he loves to do a dawson version of "silly face" {just like big brother} by raising his eyebrows up as far as they will go and tilting his head back as far as it will go.  sometimes we will get a goofy grin along with some teeth too.  so funny.  speaking of teeth, he has all 4 bottom and all 4 top teeth now.  yowzers!  he loves to dance and always shakes his head side to side when you say no.  he is crazy sauce.

he is waving "hi" when you go and get him up from his crib.  he just gets so happy to see you.  he also gives you kisses right on the lips if you ask for it.  he is just so very sweet like that.  he is in the dreaded phase right now where he wants to be held all.the.time.  all the time.  the moment you put him down he will wail like he just hit his head on the floor or something.  he is still eating 4- 6 oz bottles/ day along with breakfast, lunch and dinner in form of solids.  he will pretty much eat everything we are eating just cut up in little bits and he loves it.  he will eat a whole meal {like chicken, a vegetable, a fruit and some cheese} in two second flat.  no joke.

he will be walking before his 1st birthday, i almost guarantee it.  he will stand for seconds without holding on to anything and will cruise the furniture.  he crawls SO fast, especially when big brother gets a bowl of snacks.  dawson will immediately crawl/run to it and grab all his snacks and toss them on the floor. 

dawson is wearing 12-18 month jammies, onsies and jumpers along with size 12 month shorts.  he is still wearing size 4 diapers, but i'm thinking we can already move him up to a size 5 here very soon.  at his 9 month check up he weighed in at a whopping 20lbs 11oz {68th percentile}, was 29.21 inches long {85th percentile} and an 18" head circumference {72nd percentile}.  he's such a big boy!!  dr. yip was very pleased with his growth and all the milestones he has achieved thus far.  makes me a happy mamma :0)

i'm already starting this little boy's first birthday party and that makes me kinda sad although it is so nice to know we have survived the first year :0)
