rawley's birthday party: a pirate party!

a very late post on rawley's 2nd birthday party.  i'm slowly trying to catch up around here and this is the last of it :0)

one of my favorite blogs and fellow bumpie april 2011 mamma posted her precious foosa's 1st birthday party last year and the moment i saw his precious shirt i knew i had to have it for rawley!

i mean, this pirate had the most adorable mustache on it.  how could i not have gotten this shirt?!  PLUS it was rawley's golden birthday so it was just a perfect fit all around.

we really didn't do too much this time around.  i wanted to do a lot more {foosa's mamma actually took the time to sent me all the documents and posters from foosa's party to use}, but i didn't get around to getting that deep into party planning.

{dad took rawley to go get balloons for his party and once he got home he walked all over the house and would not let them go.  he even wanted to eat lunch with them}

thank goodness i remembered to have a family picture taken of us this year.  last year i was too busy to have it done {total mom fail}.
