rawley is 21 months.

1.20.2013

I almost thought I was never going to get this posted ;)  The hustle of the holidays, a crazy toddler and a very demanding 2 month old has got this mamma all over the place.  Slow down please!

Seriously, this kid is almost two...TWO!  That is some serious crazy talk

blog

Rawley is still not talking and having a really hard time expressing himself because of it.  Throwing everything, hitting everyone and screaming are his current ways of expressing himself.  Maybe it's the toddler side in him too that's having him do this.  He has brought back {Yo Gabba Gabba or "gabba gabba gabba"}.  I'm getting a little worried and frustrated at the moment about it.  I know it will come at his own pace, but I really hope this is happening because he is just very stubborn instead of a more serious issue.  On a positive note, he understands everything and everything that we tell him so that's why I'm thinking he is just a stubborn boy instead.

His new found love is to spin in circles while we sing {Ring a Round the Rosie's} and he falls down at the end and just cracks up!  He will do this over and over and over again ;)  Since throwing food was still a huge issue, we decided to move his booster seat to the big dinner table so he can eat with us and it has worked like a charm {for the most part}.  He will still throw food if you aren't sitting right next to him, but for all his meals he will use plates and utensils.  It's so cute seeing him be such a big boy and eating with everyone.  It's my favorite part of the day :)  Rawley also loves counting.  Even though he can't actually {count}, he cracks up whenever you count and is always so struck in awe whenever we count to him.

Rawley's first set of bottom molars are all in finally!  That was brewing for a very long time and it was brutal.  Now we just have to wait for all the rest tome come through...eek!  Rawley is still wearing size 12 pants {but they are all high waters on him}, but the 18 months pants are too big in the waist, but the perfect length.  He is also wearing 18-24 month size shirts, size 5 shoes along with size 4 diapers.

As far as adjusting to being a big brother, he is doing MUCH better!  He will still get irritated with him when Dawson is crying over his TV show, but when I'm nursing him Rawley will bring his "suck suck" and blankie over to me thinking he needs them both while he is eating.  He gives him many brother hugs and kisses along with swift hits to the head, but we have come a long way :)

Even though our days are always a challenge right now, he is still the cutest, funniest and sweetest little Rawley ever.  Love him!
