rawley looks like quite the little dude now. it seems ever since his little brother came home he doesn't look like quite a little boy anymore. he is all toddler and does pretty much everything his own way these days and that's how he likes it. our days over here are pretty hectic...such as life with boys!
stubbornness is still his strong suit right now. talking isn't really happening still at this point, but you can tell his wheels are turning. anytime we try to have him say stuff he will completely ignore us and by the time we turn away because we have given up he will just look at us like "were you talking to me"?! yeah, he is ornery like that. new stuff he has said are "apple", "ball" and "the moon", but it's not a repetitive event. we swear he repeated "i love you" the other day, but maybe it's wishful thinking ;0) he still loves the bath. whenever we tell him it's bath time he will run straight to his bathroom and yell "baaaaath". in social situations, he is pretty much the observer like his mamma. not really in to getting in the mix with stuff unless he is really comfortable with you or the environment around him. i will say it a million times and i'll say it again, but rawley beats to the sound of his own drum around here!
he likes mischief, especially when i'm feeding his little brother. whenever i am nursing him, rawley will still climb on tables, reach for everything on the counter tops now and open the pantry door to get food out like it's his own personal buffet. i have ordered child safety locks finally so i have one less thing to worry about during this time. testing my patience is his favorite activity right now and listening has become a problem. tantrums have become a daily thing too over the smallest thing. changing his diaper is a huge battle around here and throwing food on the floor rather than telling me he is done is still happening around here too. he loves strawberries, peas and his milk and everything he used to love {like bananas} he hates at the moment. man, this boy...
regardless of how challenging he has become right now, he still such a sweet and fun boy! i love anytime that come home from being some where he just runs as fast as his little legs will carry him and give the biggest hug with the biggest smile. getting him up from his crib anytime he sleeps is my favorite thing to do. i love how when i get him out he will wrap his little arms around my neck and just snuggle me. it melts me everytime.
What a silly little booger! I just love this kid. That silly face and those sweet hugs get me every time!
