dawson is twelve months...ONE!

the day is here kids...dawson is officially ONE!  i can officially say i have two toddlers because this kid is toddling around everywhere.  and for the record, this months pictures were extremely hard to take.  dawson is constantly on the move and cannot sit still for a second so the five pictures i snapped came out blurry or just mediocre.  i've documented his twelfth month so i'm calling it a success!

age:  12 months!

 stats:  at his one year appointment he weighed in at 23lbs {76th%} and is 31.5in {94th%} with a head circumference of 18.50 {74th%}.  he is my tall and chunky big baby :0)    

clothes:  18-24 month sleepers/ jammies and onsies.  size 5 - 6 shoes.  size 4 diapers (should be wearing size 5, but we still have a crap ton of 4's left) still and 12-18 month shorts/pants. 

favorite foods:  he still eats absolutely everything.  he's had a few days this month where he hasn't eaten much, but everything is still his favorite! 

favorite words:  previous words:  dad, mom mom, "pain" (for airplane) and "kkkk" for milk.  he is still saying his previous words with the exception of mom or dad, but he has added "bruh" (for brother and he keeps saying and pointing to anything that's a fox by saying "fffa".  he will point out every balloon in the grocery store by saying "ba".

milestones:  this kid is running everywhere!  running.  he is very mobile now.  if he is playing in his play room and it's meal time, he will come running into the kitchen when i let him know food is ready.  he is all business when it comes to food or sleep.  we have also 100% transitioned him to both whole milk and sippy cups and he has handled it perfectly.  although i think he is more hungry obviously throughout the day so i'm having a hard time making sure he eats as healthy as possible while filling the gaps between his milk feedings.  again, he is always hungry ;0)

this month i feel dawson has really turned into a toddler.  he is moving around at the speed of his big brother and absorbing everything!  he makes us laugh with all his different silly faces and expressions.  he is my little snuggle bug, yet he is extremely independent and very persistent.

dawson loves his big brother SO much.  they have such a love/hate relationship though.  sometimes i will hear them giggling and chasing each other around and then the next minute someone has been knocked down to the ground and crying.  these two love to wrestle, but it always leads to someone getting hurt.  i suppose that is life of brothers.

happy ONE year birthday my sweet little baby boy!  you have brought your mamma and dad so much happiness with your sweet, laid back and silly little self.  we seriously can't imagine life without you and your brother.  you have completed this family perfectly.
