so much has changed this month since the last. dawson is growing like crazy and growing all kinds of personality. he is definately not a newborn baby anymore, he is a straight kid and it's getting good around here :)
this month, dawson has grown leaps and bounds as far as what he is doing. hearing him babble all.the.time. is actually the cutest thing i have ever heard. he sounds like he is always holding a conversation with us and his face lights up with such personality! he is rolling all over the floor and is no longer just staying in one place and as you can see in the above picture he is sitting up now! not only is he sitting, he is also pushing himself up now too. we really need to watch out for this one because he is going to be quite the handful.
this month we have really dug into sleep training. we are loosely following the Ferber Method like we did with rawley and so far it's going great. we obviously don't let him just cry himself to sleep when we know he isn't tired, but we don't just go in there and get him the second he starts crying. now if we can only resolve him waking up at 4am with eyes wide open then my life would be pretty perfect around here.
dawson loves rawley. rawley, not so much. anytime rawley walks into the room he smiles so big and wiggles with excitement thinking he is going to come play with him, but sadly rawley just blows right past him. i can't wait for the day for rawley to return that excitement for dawson, but one day it will happen.
he is growing like a weed! at his six month well-check he weighed in at a whopping 17 pounds {52nd percentile} and is 28 inches long {93rd percentile}!! this kid is on fire! he is wearing size 4 diapers which is the same size rawley is wearing along with size 9-12 months clothes. he is my BIG little boy :)
